Gaženica

Zadar city district Gaženica is the transport and industrial center of the city of Zadar. Numerous production and business facilities, as well as warehouses have found their home in this neighborhood, where the main attention takes the newly built cargo / passenger port of the same name ‘Gaženica’, which is one of the most modern ports in this part of Europe. This port serves as the main passenger port for ferries, cruiseships and freight section. The port makes the city of Zadar well connected due to the fact that it is directly connected to the A1 highway that connects the north and south of Croatia with the rest of Europe, and in the immediate vicinity is Zadar Airport.

Distance from the center of Zadar city is 3.5 km. The excellent geostrategic position of Zadar, as well as a multitude of attractions and sights in the city itself, as well as numerous national parks in its immediate vicinity, have brought the port of Gaženica to the list of destination ports of numerous cruises in the Adriatic Sea.
