Arbanasi
In a quiet area of the southeastern part of the Zadar peninsula with a rich history and an interesting ethnic background, there is a peaceful area called Arbanasi. Arbanasi are an ethnic community in and around the city of Zadar. Their original settlements were also the Zadar Arbanasi, which got its name from the founders of the Albanian origin which used a specific traditional speech known as the Arbanasi dialect.
This part of the city is decorated with beautiful beaches and pine forests. The beautiful Karma promenade stretches along the Arbanasi coast. Arbanasi is an increasingly desirable vacation destination due to its proximity to the city, beaches and other amenities. That part of the city is not overcrowded, and mostly new and luxurious holiday homes prevail.
In addition, this part of the city is an ideal place to live throughout the year. There is a school, a kindergarten, a church, a public library, shops, cafes and a playground. The main bus station and the port of Gaženica are located in the immediate vicinity. Arbanasi is also well connected with other parts of the city by regular bus lines.
