International Climbers Meeting Paklenica

Paklenica National Park is a favorite gathering place for climbers and hikers and most popular event that takes place here is traditional International Climbers Meeting Paklenica.

The climbing season usually starts around May the 1st and lasts until late autumn. Croatian and foreign adventurers attracted to climbing, so every year on the International Meeting of climbers Paklenica comes an increasing number of participants. As part of the meeting, numerous events were organized: a climbing competition for children, and young people, a climbing marathon and the Paklenica Film Festival, which shows amateur films with a climbing theme.

Paklenica is an extremely attractive location with landscaped carbonate rocks and offers about 600 equipped and regulated routes for climbers. Also, the proximity of the sea gives it a special charm, so in addition to climbing, every visitor can try sea sports.
The most famous rock for climbing in this Croatian climbing center is Anića kuk with 350 meters long routes. A whole range of competitions, events and entertainment in the breathtaking nature encourages more and more people to join the adventure of the Paklenica Riviera.
