Maslenica

Maslenica

At the foot of the south side of the Velebit Mountains, just after the Maslenica Bridge, along the coast of the Novigrad Sea lies the village of Maslenica. The place, which belongs to the municipality Jasenice, is named after the numerous and centuries-old olive trees (Croatian: Masline).

The city of Zadar, to which leads a good road and can be reached quickly and easily, is only 30 kilometers away. The advantage of the location is also the proximity to the highway, namely directly before Maslenica you come off the highway. This saves time and makes it easy to come here.

The coast is adorned with many beautiful, easily accessible beaches.

Within a radius of 100 km from Maslenica are numerous national parks and nature parks, which are worth a visit. A day trip is easily possible to the national parks Kornati and Krka, nature parks Vrana Lake and Telaščica. Nearest is the river Zrmanja, also an excellent excursion point. If you are a true adventurer you can try bungee jumping from the Maslenica Bridge and rafting on the Zrmanja River.

Those who come to Maslenica can enjoy the beautiful nature and vegetation, the beautiful coastline, the clean sea and the fresh air. There are several shops, schools, several restaurants and cafes. There is an ever more diverse and high-quality accommodation, everything from simple to luxurious accommodations. The largest selection is offered by private accommodation providers and everyone can find the right one for themselves. There is no doubt that you will meet hospitable locals.

Further information can be found on the website of Jasenice Tourist Board.
