Musical evenings at St. Donat’s

The Musical evenings at St. Donat’s is the oldest and at the same time the most respected music and artistic event that has been organized since 1960 and it was established by the group of citizens of Zadar in order to cherish the cultural and artistic value of Zadar’s heritage. It is organized in the church of St. Donat’s, a precious building of unique architecture and acoustics. This festival has a high reputation all over the world and is one of the most important promoters of Croatian culture. Music evenings at St. Donat’s hosting many prominent music artists and musicians from Croatia, Europe and the world who cherish the music of the Middle Ages, Renaissance, and early Baroque. The famous Zadar Chamber Orchestra began its work at this festival and is now one of the best ensembles in the country.
Thanks to this manifestation, the church of St. Donat’s has become one of the most attractive concert hall in Croatia, which is definitely worth a visit and experience.
