Ražanac

Ražanac is a beautiful Dalmatian place with panoramic views of the sea and the mountain Velebit, situated on the coast of the Velebit Channel about 22 km northeast of the city of Zadar.

Ražanac municipality with settlements Ražanac, Radovin, Jovići, Rtina, Ljubač, Ljubački stanovi, Podvršje and Krneza has almost 3,000 inhabitants, of which almost 950 live in the heart of the municipality Ražanac.

It is famous for its fishermen and the fresh quality fish that they bring, and you can buy and enjoy these fresh products prepared in local restaurants and taverns. Good wine goes best with fish, and the inhabitants of Ražanac are also widely known for harvesting grapes from numerous local vineyards producing excellent wine here.

You will be amazed by the clarity of the sea and the top beaches along the coast.

In the place you find all the necessary branch offices and institutions, there are cafes and restaurants, shops, elementary school, general practice, pharmacy, municipal office, post office, ATM, etc.

The waterfront near the center is adorned with the remnants of a Venetian fortress, many typical Dalmatian stone buildings, a beautiful promenade and a waterfront with numerous boats. This fantastic scenery has served as the scenery for several Croatian films.

In front of Ražanac are two islands called Ražanac Mali and Veli with beautiful isolated beaches.
