Sailing regatta Zadarska Koka

Sailing regatta Zadarska Koka has been organized in Zadar for many years and is intended for all those who like to sail regardless of the competitive ambitions. Also, every year, this regatta invites all see and Zadar to participate in the traditional sailing party.
Regatta Zadarska Koka was named by medieval merchant sailboat “Chocha”, which sailed to Zadar in 1398.
This regatta is organized in honor of Zadar’s maritime tradition and all of Zadar’s sailing successes. The route is arranged in such a way that the boats can be seen at any time from the seafront of Zadar old town. Also, sailboats passing along the promenades Puntamika and Punta Bajlo. The goal is that the whole regatta can be watched from the mainland so all the viewers can enjoy in unforgettable scenes. At the end of the regatta there are always award ceremony and a big party, which is always organized at Vitrenjak, as part of the Uskok Sailing Club.
