The Five Wells Square
The Five Wells Square, located in front of the Captain’s Tower and the city wall, was built in the 16th century at the time of defence against Turkish sieges. A large drinking water tank with five decorated wreaths was created at the site, which today represent attractions that enrich the tourist offer of Zadar. The Five Wells Square is one of the many places that tourists love to visit today.

Every year there is organized many concerts and traditionally Zadar’s Christmas Advent, which is one of the most entertaining and successful events that makes Five Well Square one of the main gathering places.
