The Gold and Silver of Zadar
The Gold and Silver of Zadar is one of the most valuable exhibitions in Croatia. It is held as part of the Permanent Exhibition of Church Art, which was established in the 1970s.

The Gold and Silver of the city of Zadar is an invaluable treasure preserved by the Benedictines, and some valuable examples are the work of their hands. The objects you can see in this exhibition are related to Zadar and the Zadar area and all of them are the work of local craftsmen.

The reliquary from the 7th century, silver reliquaries in the form of a hand studded with precious stones, a multitude of crosses, stone baptistery, part of the cathedral’s pulpit and Gothic sculptures are just some of the valuable exhibits you will see as part of this permanent representative exhibition.
With this exhibition, Zadar is a place right next to cultural metropolises, as such a collection of valuable and exquisite religious works of art all in one place can only be seen in the greatest European centers.
You can visit the Gold and Silver Zadar exhibition at any time, it is open to all visitors every day.
