Vladimir Nazor’s park

Vladimir Nazor’s park is located right next to the historic center of Zadar. This largest park in Zadar and nature monument was built in the 19th century in the place of Forte thanks to the Austrian nobleman and military commander of Dalmatia Dragutin Blažeković, so for long time it was called  the Military Park. After damage during the war, the park has been renovated, decorated and lined with stone paths, installed benches and lighting and the original stone slab was preserved, which testifies to the park’s raising. There are cypress alleys, beautiful centuries-old pines, laurels and several types of flowers.
Many recreationalists and walkers use Vladimir Nazor’s Park as their oasis of peace because of the beautiful atmosphere, fresh air and enchanting nature.
