The Sea Organ

The Sea Organ, located on the western part of the Zadar seafront, next to the installation Greetings to the Sun, was designed by the project of the famous Zadar architect Nikola Bašić. This architectural miracle is a compound of human idea, music and nature. Pipes of different lengths, diameters and slopes are built into the stone staircase, which stretches as much as seventy meters of shore. With the energy of the sea, the waves and the high and low tides, the music from this “instrument” is unpredictable and most relaxing. Sea organs are unique in the world and a must-see place for every visitor to the city. With the Greetings to the Sun, they are the most beautiful attraction of the Adriatic.
